It seems that the social and political pressure made Geert Wilders to step back. Fortunately, his long-awaited movie is not as worse as it was expected, considering the degree that it might offend Muslims. "Fitna" is just repeating same old fuss with old, known footage.
You can make another film to present any religion in the same terrorizing way by copy-pasting other material. To defame Protestanism or Catholicism, you can use Ku Klux Klan or Army of God footage. You can dig for Stalin's time for a licence-to-kill from the Orthodox Church. To defame Jews, you can use Kash. Even for Sihks, you can copy and paste from the material on Babbar Khalsa terrorism.
If you don't know about the historical context, you can even suggest that Old Testament preaches hate, as strong as Quran does. However, this is wrong, because neither of them preaches hate; but both of them have signs of the love and the anger of God. Only if you have pure hate inside can you skip the love part and see the wrath in these books. If you keep reading these holy books, soon or late you will see that God has got a reasoning for both of these moods.

An example from Wilders' shameful clip: The movie opens up with a Quranic verse, accompanying 9/11 footage (what a provocation!), but it clearly lies about the Book.
While quoting 60th verse of 10th Surah, the film manipulates the Quranic translation to emphasize the word "terror." The original of the verse (10/60) should be:
"Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the Cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly."
The film didn't mention it, but look what Quran says in the following verse (11/61):
"And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and trust in Allah; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing."
Muslims believe that the Quran was being revealed to Mohammed by God through Gabriel verse by verse. When these two verses were revealed, the first Muslims were in a struggle of life and death against Mecca pagans. Pagans were rich and popolous, while Muslims were few and poor. In these verses, God orders Mohammed and his followers to spend not for their own pleasure, but for their military deterrence against oppressor pagans. And then He orders that as long as these oppressors are peaceful, you MUST also be peaceful, even though you don't really like it.
That's all and that's how Wilders has manipulated this very simple fact.
