The Washington Post (PKK Edition)

The latest Washington Post article on PKK has surprised me a lot...

Not because it sounds like the mouthpiece of the terrorist organization...

OK, WP correspondents were whitewashing PKK's bloody history against civilian targets, trying to create sympathy for the terrorists by their photographs with flowers and bear cubs, whose mother and siblings were killed by Turkish jets!!!

What a lame, disgusting way of quasi-journalism!

But that was not the reason that I was surprised, because such double standards are very familiar to us who knows a lot about WP who easily label innocent people as terrorists, but not the condemned baby killers. And try to imagine that they present Al Qaida or FARC militants in such a "cute" way..

I was surprised that the WP staff approved the publication of this article even though it is clear that the reporters are obviously lying about a material fact.

The report suggests that the WP correspondents were in northern Iraq "during and after" Turkish operations. So it was the end of February.

They wandered around the ragged Iraqi terrain, they climbed mountains along with PKK terrorists and they took photos.

These lands were obviously covered by heavy snow at that time, as can be seen from the picture above, which was taken by Turkish Armed Forces during the operation. And let's don't forget that PKK sources claimed that the heavy snow was the reason of Turkish withdrawal.

So where the hell is this snow in WP photos? Check all their photographs (like the one below) and try to find the snowflakes.

Does the Washington Post think that we are all stupid? Are Americans so naive to believe in the freedom and honesty of their press after such travesties?

The American media should stop this bloody guerilla romanticism, because PKK, just like FARC, is just a criminal organization which can target hundreds of civilians every year just to protect its financial interests in drug and arms smuggling.

If they can't stop it, then they should at least have a standard.

And without doubt, they should avoid such ill-tempered correspondents who can easily lie. Otherwise their diminishing credibility would be completely vaporized.

You can keep believing in the lie that PKK militants are peace doves by reading American mass media. Or you can search for the reality. Such a reality is hard to stomach, but face it. For more realistic PKK photos, click here and see the bitter side of PKK terrorism.
