A Typical AKP Bureaucrat:

From the Graveyards to the Orchestra

Rumours say that AKP, the ruling party in Turkey, is a brotherhood of nepotism, cronyism and corruption.

More and more people condemn that the prime minister is awarding unqualified men with distinguished positions, just because they are loyal to himself. And they prove this loyalty with the headscarves of their wives, now an emblem of political alignment, and the number of their children, which must be more than three.

Is it true? I will give you an example in Istanbul bureaucracy:

Here is Celal Sevencan, the Director of the City Orchestra in Istanbul.

You can decide if he is a qualified person for this job, with his amazing career, including his services as the Director of Cemetaries and the Programmer of the Fire Brigade!

"Celal Sevencan was born in Trabzon, Of, 1954. After completing his elementary education in 1975, he entered to Samsun Islam Institute and graduated in 1981.

Sevencan started his first profession as a teacher at Bitlis Central Atatürk Elementary School. He worked as a teacher, deputy head administrator, administrator at various schools. He was nominated as Samsun Tekkeköy District Municipality Mayor from Welfare Party in the local elections of 1994.

After the elections, in the same year, Sevencan started to serve as the Editorship Administrator at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. He worked at the Directorate of Cemetaries for 5 years, and afterwards, he was assigned to the Department of Fire Brigade as a programmer in 1999.

Sevencan was assigned to be the Administrator of Social and Administrative Affairs on 01.05.2001, and was assigned to Department of Solid Waste Administration as an administrator, through definitive appointment, on 17.11.2004. Sevencan was assigned to become the Director of City Orchestra on 04.08.2006.

He is married with 5 children."

The ideal choice to manage the City Orchestra, right?
